As of December 2022, our Press Framing service is now our Online Article service. To print and frame an Online Article, click here. After you submit your order, our team will send you a mock up of your layout for your approval prior to putting your frame into production. Please note, we no longer accept physical articles to be framed. To learn more, please read this blog post.
Ever stop to ask yourself why your collection of press clippings is gathering dust in your drawers instead of hanging on your walls? We found ourselves with the same problem and are excited to introduce the easiest way to get your hard-earned accolades on your walls.
Introducing Press Framing. We’ve added three new Art Types to the Frame Builder —Newspapers, Magazines and Online Articles—so that you no longer need to wonder how to frame these often odd sized pieces (or relegate them to wall plaques).
Have a bunch of links that you’d like to turn into a statement Press wall? We now offer the easiest and most affordable way to get your press framed.
Here’s how it works:
- Go to Build your frame and choose “Online Article” as your Art Type.
- If you’re not sure of the size, select 14x18 inches.
- Choose your Frame & Mat Style. Please select "Article" for the Mat Style.
- At checkout, please include the link to your Online Article in the textbox labeled "Deadline Notes."
- We’ll do the rest!
It really is that simple for you, but here’s what’s happening behind the scenes. We’ll download the article and format it for printing on beautiful, high quality cotton rag paper (Hahnemuhle 310 gsm for those in the know). We also recommend sending us a high res photo (300 dpi or better) if the article features a photo of yours. This will ensure the photo looks beautiful (not blurry) when printed. We then find the publication’s header and format everything for print.
But wait, there’s more! Do you have a few articles that you’d like to see all formatted to fit the same frame size? Our in-house design team will work our magic and send you a preview before we print all of your press to be framed to give you the streamlined look you didn’t even know was possible.
What about magazines? We offer two great options for magazine article framing: 2 Openings with Header + Article or 2 openings with Cover + Article.
Not sure which style you like? We think the Header + Article Mat Style is great for a smaller budget and smaller amount of wall space. Or maybe you’re just not that into whatever is on the magazine’s cover. The Cover + Article Mat Style is great to really highlight the amazing publication that featured you and also make the overall frame stand out on your press wall.
Here’s how it works:
- Go to Build your frame and choose “Magazine” as your Art Type.
- We recommend you choose size 11x14 inches. It’s likely that your header and article with matting will fit within that size and if you choose the Cover/Article Mat Style, we will automatically bump you up to the next size in the ordering process.
- Choose your Frame Style & Mat Style. Please select "Article" for the Mat Style.
- Send us the clippings or the whole Magazine (we’re experts at cutting these out of magazines!)
- We’ll do the rest!
p.s. Are you looking for more than 2 openings on your project? Email us or just make a note of it in your order details. We have you covered.
Last, but not least, a custom framing solution for the increasingly hard-to-find daily or weekly newspaper clipping.
Here’s how it works:
- Go to Build your frame and choose “Newspaper” as your Art Type.
- We recommend you choose size 11x14. It’s likely that your header and article with matting will fit within that space.
- Choose your Frame Style & Mat Style. Please select "Article" for the Mat Style.
- Send us the clippings or the whole newspaper (we’re experts at cutting these).
- We’ll do the rest!
