The Gardener of Stars
by Blue Myers
The Gardener of Stars imagines the raven as a keeper of the night sky, gathering starlight and sowing it upon the earth. Beneath a luminous full moon, the bird releases a strand of glowing stars onto a hillside where crimson roses bloom from a tapestry of swirling patterns. The gesture is both tender and timeless—a quiet act of creation linking the heavens with the living world. Across many cultures, ravens are regarded as messengers, creators and guardians of hidden knowledge. Here, the raven becomes a bridge between worlds, carrying light from the cosmos and planting it where beauty can take root. The glowing stars suggest ideas, hopes, or moments of inspiration—small sparks that, when nurtured, blossom into something enduring. The deep blues of the night sky contrast with the red of roses, while the moon casts a quiet radiance over the scene. A dreamlike landscape where imagination and nature are inseparable, and where every act of creation begins with a single points of light
