Cherry Drift

Cherry blossoms scattered across a deep Prussian blue field — some fully resolved, some dissolving into light. The cyanotype process gives the whole image its cool, underwater stillness, while watercolor technique brings the petals back to life in blush and coral. The digital enhancement pulls it just past documentary into something more felt than photographed. At the center, a tangle of stems anchors the composition; at the edges, petals drift loose.
