Golden Chain

Five stems of golden chain tree (Laburnum anagyroides) hang vertically against a blue night sky — the yellow flower clusters printed directly from the physical blooms, each petal caught mid-drop. Behind them, a crescent moon and constellation lines glow, drawn from a second print layer beneath. This is a cyanotype collage. Cyanotype is a photographic printing process developed in 1842 that uses UV light to record plant forms in direct contact with coated paper, producing the characteristic blue tone.
