Simply Framed x Anderson Ranch

This past winter, we were lucky enough to once again work with our friends at Anderson Ranch Arts Center to custom frame several pieces for an auction event in Aspen, Colorado. The exclusive event took place on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Galerie Maximillian in the heart of Aspen with 60 VIP guests in attendance.

The live auction included 14 works of art and 3 experience packages including a Takashi Nakazato tea set, a limited edition signed Christo and Jeanne-Claude book, a day in the print shop making custom t-shirts with Anderson Ranch Artistic Director of Painting and Printmaking Liz Ferrill, and a tour of Anderson Ranch founder Paul Soldner's Aspen home along with a ceramic work made by Paul in the early 1970s.

Below is an image from the event showing auctioned works by Hiroki Morinoue, Allison Miller and Julian Schnabel in our black gallery frame.

In addition, the Ranch offers a large public events program, attended by more than 5,000 people each year. Coming up this summer is their 50th Anniversary! There will be a week long celebration from July 17 - 22, 2016. A detailed schedule of events for the 50th anniversary celebration is available here.
