A Joyful Home

Joy Cho’s bright, cheery lifestyle and design brand Oh Joy! is the perfect antidote for getting through the long, cold winter months. As longtime fans and followers of Joy’s, we love the way she mixes pastels and patterns to create playful spaces that radiate warmth and positivity.
In 2018, when Joy announced that she and her husband were building a new home for their family in L.A., we knew it was going to be full of unique touches and special surprises. Fast forward to 2021, the first glimpse is finally here! The recent reveal was especially exciting for us, and we were overjoyed (!) to see our custom frames featured in her daughters’ adorable bedroom and crafting room.
We love Joy’s aesthetic sensibility and the way she celebrates Ruby and Coco’s creativity by hanging some of their very own mini masterpieces in their rooms. If you’re looking for design inspiration for your own children’s bedrooms or thoughtful ways to hang your children’s artwork, this is the place to start.
When designing Ruby and Coco’s new room, Joy opted for pieces that were both fun and functional. Their shared bedroom is full of charming details like the pink leopard-print wallpaper—on the ceiling!—and the trundle bunk bed that’s perfect for sleepovers.
Our neutral frames work well with bold colors and patterns, letting the artwork speak for itself. We love how these bright graphic prints play off the color-coded bookshelf. Art Details: Sunglasses Print by David Newton in our Black Gallery frame, Leopard Print by Aleesha Nandhra in our White Gallery frame, and Ladies Print by PPL of Fashion in our Matte Gold Metal Gallery frame.
Who knew kids’ wall art could be so stylish and sophisticated? We love the mix-and-match approach of this bedroom gallery wall, pairing our White Gallery frame with our Matte Gold Metal Gallery and Black Gallery frames. All of our frame styles are designed to complement one another for an effortless yet pulled-together look.
In the crafting room, Joy showcases her daughter Ruby’s very own artwork in our White Gallery frame. Kids’ framed art gives any room a thoughtful touch.
Celebrate and encourage your little artists’ creativity with our variety of custom framing options. Ruby’s mini masterpiece looks right at home among work by some of Joy’s favorite artists. Artwork (left to right, top to bottom): Portrait of Ruby by Casey Brodley, Photo of Ruby’s Legs in Confetti by Jennifer Young x Geronimo, Original Painting by Ruby (Age 2.5), Girl in Washington Square Park by Lindsey Burwell, Original Painting by Kindah Khalidy.
A place for everything and everything in its place. We’re getting serious design (and organization!) inspiration from this kid-friendly shelving and storage area.
