Created from a specimen of Sarcodiotheca collected along the shores of Vashon Island in Washington's Puget Sound, Tidewritten captures the delicate architecture of a marine alga shaped by the forces of tide, current, and season. Through the historic cyanotype process, the seaweed's branching form emerges in luminous white against a deep ocean-blue field, preserving a fleeting moment from the intertidal landscape.
