Sizing & Pricing

All custom frames are crafted and assembled to order. Instead of pricing by the inch, we use price tiers determined by the width and height of your frame.

Need matting? We automatically size up to the next price tier because adding a mat increases the overall size of your frame. If you order a frame that is too big or too small, our team measures everything the moment it arrives to our shop and we’ll contact you to adjust your price.

What We're Made Of

We work with some of the most storied suppliers around to ensure we use the highest quality frame mouldings, plexiglass, and matboard that are as beautiful as they are built to last.

With a combined 100+ years of experience in the custom framing business, our frame shop knows how to frame so you can rest assured that only the best makers are working on your project.

Our Materials

  • OUR FRAMES

    All of our frames are made from 100% wood or metal. Before adding frames to our collection, we always ask, would we hang this in our own home? Do we think you'll love this for years to come? The answer must always be yes.

  • OUR MATS

    We have carefully curated our selection of mat colors and styles to ensure your art always looks great. You can choose your optimal Mat Style in our online frame Designer and learn more about our current Mat Styles here.

  • WHY PLEXI?

    Not only is Plexiglass the industry standard and contains more UV protection, but chances are, in the future you will have to move and Plexiglass is both lighter and less breakable compared to glass.

    Our standard UV plexi filters ~85-89% of UV and 92% of light.

  • MOUNTING

    Mounting depends on the art type, size, and the condition in which your piece arrives. We take great care of your pieces and review each one carefully to ensure it is mounted properly. For more on mounting, read our FAQ.

Our Locations

  • GETTING THERE

    Shipping your art to us? We have options. Select a tube, mailer, or shipping label at checkout. Tubes and mailers will ship in 1 to 2 business days. Shipping labels will arrive via email within 1 hour. Using your own packaging? Select “I’ll use my own packaging and label”

  • UPON ARRIVAL

    Once your art arrives to our shop, the entire process takes between 6-12 business days to complete your custom frame. Upon completion, we send it back to you, ready to hang via Fedex Ground.

  • CUSTOM TAKES TIME

    The average turnaround time for your completed custom frame with transit both ways is 2-4 weeks. Shipping time depends on your distance from a Simply Framed location and generally takes 1-5 business days within the continental US.

  • SECURE SHIPPING

    Our shipping materials have been approved and tested by FedEx to prevent damage in transit. Once complete, you’ll receive a shipping and delivery notification for your frame or print.

    • Unfixed chalk or graphite works
    • Anything with glitter
    • Anything you wouldn’t trust handing to Fedex
