Meet The Experts At MoMA!

NY Fashion week and Valentine’s Day have come and gone. What else is there to help us get through the (seemingly longest) shortest month of the year and keep things bright until the beginning of spring? MoMA Design Store’s Print Shop Pop-Up, which opened at the museum store’s Soho location February 21st!

Along with having the incredible privilege of framing hard-to-find posters from artists in MoMA’s collection and prints by Kayrock Screenprinting—we’re thrilled to co-host a weekly Wednesday breakfast series to coincide with the pop-up. Each Meet the Experts Breakfast event will feature an acclaimed industry expert offering a unique wealth of knowledge, complimentary gallery wall design, and framing advice—as well as coffee and breakfast goodies, to sweeten the deal.

Can’t make it on Wednesdays? Beyond our Meet the Experts Breakfast series, we’ll be hosting ongoing event series throughout the month, including Framing 1-on-1s on Sunday mornings and special sessions on framing ephemera, children’s artwork, personal photographs, and more. You can view the full event schedule here, which also includes links to RSVP to the events where it’s required.

Here’s a rundown of the experts who will be joining us Wednesday mornings. We’ll see you there!

Wednesday, February 27th

Meet the Experts Breakfast: Erin Dana Lichy, HOMEGIRL

10-11am

RSVP here.

Erin Dana Lichy, HOMEGIRL

To say that Erin Dana Lichy is an expert in home renovations is an understatement. The native New Yorker is a professional designer, developer, real estate agent, and seasoned apartment flipper in one of the country’s hottest markets. Over her years in the industry, she saw her female residential clients make renovations simply for personal preference, without considering resale value—thus making preventable mistakes, like not maximizing potential profit, or even losing property value. She set off to change that, and Homegirl was born. Erin now uses her unique experience in trend forecasting, market research, construction, and design to help inspire and empower other women to enter (and succeed in) real estate, while loving their walls.

Wednesday, March 6th

She was recently added to the prestigious “Elle Decor A-list” of top interior designers in the world, and her Instagram account has been declared one to follow by both Elle Decor and British Vogue.

Along with being an expert in the art of photography, Sophie is also the co-founder of Through Our Lens, a non-profit that promotes more inclusion and diversity in the fashion industry, both behind and in front of the camera.
