Simply Framed in Domino

The incredible team behind Domino may have just outdone themselves with their Winter 2019 issue. The much anticipated Renovation Issue is a revelation, thanks in no small part to the cover story featuring design superstar Sarah Sherman Samuel.

If you follow Sarah on Instagram, you know that she’s been lovingly restoring a fixer upper in the woods of Grand Rapids, Michigan, gradually filling it with gorgeous pieces in her signature modern-yet-earthy style. The results are stunning, so keep scrolling for some of our favorite design moments, as beautifully captured by photographer Matthew Williams. (Spoiler alert: They include Simply Framed!)

Sarah sherman Samuel domino block shop textilesWe can’t get enough of this perfectly lit corner, featuring a vintage accent chair, side table and planter from CB2, lamp and ottoman from Lulu & Georgia, and treehouse-like view. But our very favorite element is, of course, the Block Shop Textiles print custom framed and floated in our Natural Gallery Frame.

We can’t resist a great gallery wall, and this one—featuring artwork commissioned by Jen Garrido and custom framed by us in White Gallery Frames—is flawless. We love how everything works together—from the playfully stacked planters (from CB2 and Target, respectively) to the architectural lamp by Virginia Sin—to create a three-dimensional focal point.
