Approve orders for fulfillment

Now that you have the Shopify app Integration successfully set up, orders will now populate in the app (as seen below). Once you have linked a product variant with a print file and Favorite, it will become immediately available for fulfillment by Simply Framed. Any new orders for this variant will appear in the App where you can approve them for fulfillment.

  1. To view open orders, click "View your orders" or the Orders tab on the navigation bar.
  2. Now you can approve one or multiple orders for fulfillment by clicking the selection boxes on the left-hand side and then "Approve fulfillment".
    • It's important to note that individual order items are separated out on this page so that they can be approved individually. For example, if you have 3 items in one order, you will see 3 separate line items on this page. If you want to approve all 3 items in the one order, approve them all at once so they can be shipped together if possible.
  3. Once you've clicked "Approve fulfillment" you will see shipping options and payment details for each order.
  4. Choose a shipping option for each order and click "Approve shipping".
  5. Once shipping is approved, you can click "Proceed to payment", which will open a new tab to finalize your order on simplyframed.com
    • If you are approving multiple orders at once, only one of the delivery addresses will appear on the payment page. Your orders will be correctly shipped to their associated addresses.
  6. When you have completed payment, you can close the tab and return to the App.

Mail-In orders

  • By using the app, you are opting to insure each Print Only or Print & Frame order for the standard amount, $100.00. If you wish to increase this amount, please email trade@simplyframed.com with the order number.

Turnaround times

  • Mail-In orders
    • Tubes and mailers are shipping within 1 to 2 business days of placing your order.
    • Return labels will be sent via email within 1 hour of placing your order.
    • Art will be checked in at our shop within 1 to 2 business days* of arrival.
    • Once your art is checked in, your frame will ship after 6 to 12 days of production for our Core Collection and 4 to 6 weeks of production for our Black Label Collection.
  • Print & Frame and Frame-only
    • Placed into production within 1 business day of being ordered.
    • The production process lasts 3-12 business days (Core Collection) and 4-6 weeks (Black Label Collection)
  • Print only
    • Placed into production within 1 business day of being ordered.
    • The production process lasts 2-4 business days.*

Fulfillment notifications

  • Once your order has shipped you will receive an email from Simply Framed with tracking. This tracking number will be automatically forwarded to your client using your shipping notification template in Shopify.

Checking for new orders

  • You should check the App periodically to ensure your orders are placed into production promptly.
  • On the Home page of the App, you can choose to receive an email when a new order is ready to be approved for fulfillment.
