In Frame: Lauren Schwab

We were beyond excited to print and frame two gorgeous wedding photographs from the dream nuptials of Lauren Schwab, founder of cult-favorite lingerie line Negative Underwear, just in time for Valentine's Day! Be sure to check out the entire intimates collection (delicate custom embroidery is their newest addition) and then treat yourself or your special someone to skivvies that are sexy in their simplicity.
Who: Lauren Schwab, co-founder of Negative Underwear. "My partner Marissa and I believed that intimate apparel was a long neglected category with a dissatisfied consumer base desperately looking for an alternative," Lauren tells us. "Negative was born out of a desire to build something we'd actually feel proud to wear underneath our clothes. We want to give women a reason to care about their underwear!"
From Lauren: "The photo on the left was taken during our ceremony. We were married surrounded by a circle of our friends and family under a structure made from ribbons. We designed the ceremony ourselves, with my husband, Bobby, writing much of it so that the language and content seemed personal and relevant to us. The photo reminds me of the seriousness with which we both took our commitment to each other.
The photo on the right was taken after the ceremony and cocktail hour as we were walking into the reception tent with our closest friends. All of the heightened emotions from the ceremony were released. We'd had a few drinks and we were able to really enjoy ourselves. I love the smile on Bobby's face.
I chose a white wooden frame with a white mat around the photograph. I hung the photographs in our bedroom, which is predominantly white, so I wanted the frames to blend in to the surroundings.
We had so much fun at our wedding, and the photographs are a daily reminder of the love of each other and our friends and family we felt on that day."
We're not sure what's more romantic: beautifully custom framed wedding photos hanging above your bed or the entire Negative Underwear line. Luckily, there's room in your life for both. Happy Valentine's Day!
