U.S. Internment Flag
by Austin S. Daniels
The Interment Flag: When a servicemember is killed in action, the flag that drapes their casket on the journey home is the flag that is folded and presented to the family at the funeral. While in the United States Air Force I partook in fallen warrior’s final voyage home(repatriation). This is an honor few ever witness or partake in. Without their sacrifice, all the liberty we see in the world and overlook, would not exist. History shows these liberties are rarer than diamonds and gold. Their sacrifice was to this nation, and the idea of freedom that resonates around the world. Let us not forget the cost of these liberties is blood. 60X32 Native Resolution of Photo
